Relief
On May 12, 19333 the first agricultural adjustment act was created and this agency negotiated restrictions on the production of corn, cotton, dairy products, hogs, rice, tobacco, and wheat, and compensated farmers for the crops and livestock that they did not produce from funds raised by a tax on food processing.
Recovery
What this did was raised the value of the crops which ended up helping many farmers with money because they could actually sell there produce for the intended price. During the program's first three years because of the restrictions on supply, food prices rose and farm incomes increased significantly.
Reform
The Agricultural Adjustment Act has not been repealed by Congress and has been many times amended. This act has been known as un constitutional because it restricted farming expansions on citizens land.
